Affiliate disclosure

The short version

Homely Chai is an independent shortlist site. Product links to Amazon.in are affiliate links, tagged with the Associates ID homelychai-21. The commission helps keep the site and the product checking going.

Amazon Associates

Homely Chai is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.in.

When you click a product link, Amazon may set cookies or otherwise record the visit so that a qualifying purchase can be attributed to this site. That processing is controlled by Amazon, not by Homely Chai. Read the privacy policy for what this site itself does and does not store.

How links are marked

Every product link on this site is an affiliate link. They are marked in three ways:

• The disclosure sits in the strip at the top of every page, beside the picks and in the footer.
• Each product link says “Check price on Amazon” and carries a sponsored link relationship for search engines.
• Links open the Amazon listing in a new tab, so you can compare it with the shortlist.

Prices and availability

Homely Chai does not show prices. Prices on Amazon.in change often, so each pick links to Amazon, where you can see the current price and availability before buying.

The price shown on Amazon at checkout is the one that applies. Homely Chai cannot guarantee a price, a discount, a stock level or a delivery date.

What “on Chaitu's list” means

“On Chaitu's list” means the product is being considered or checked for a specific need. It is not a claim that Chaitu owns, uses or recommends the product. Unless a pick explicitly says otherwise, she has not personally tested it.

Facts and claims are taken from the Amazon listing. Where a claim comes from the seller or the listing rather than from independent testing, the text says “per the listing”. There are no invented ratings, reviews or first-hand claims on this site.

Editorial independence

Commission does not buy a place on a list. Each shortlist starts with a need, and a product is included only if its listing answers that need clearly. At the time of writing, no brand pays for placement on Homely Chai.

If that ever changes, the affected pick will be labelled as paid placement, separately from affiliate links.

Questions and corrections

If a link or product detail is wrong, or if something here is unclear, email contact@homelychai.com or reach the HomelyChai channel on YouTube or Instagram. Corrections are welcome and are checked against the live listing.
